At Rockett Home Rentals, we’re proud to support one of our team members as she takes on a huge personal challenge to raise money for Alzheimer’s Society.
She’s fundraising after her dad was diagnosed with Alzheimer’s earlier this year – a moment that, like so many families across the UK, changed everything.
Alzheimer’s Society provides vital support to patients and families, helping them navigate every stage of the condition. They also invest heavily in research, working towards better treatments and, ultimately, a cure. For many, their guidance and resources become a lifeline during an incredibly difficult time.
To raise money and awareness, she’ll be taking part in the GetPRO Bath Half – one of the UK’s most prestigious half marathons and the largest charity fundraising event in south-west England. Since 2000, more than £30 million has been raised for charities through this incredible event.
The race offers participants a unique opportunity to run through the UK’s only World Heritage City, soaking up the atmosphere while supporting causes that truly matter.
For her, this isn’t just about completing 13.1 miles. It’s about honouring her dad, supporting other families facing similar challenges, and helping fund the research and care that could make a real difference in the future.
We’re incredibly proud of her determination and commitment, and we’ll be cheering her on every step of the way.
